📆Issue No. 81 - August 8-10, 2026

Happy Friday, friends!

Whether your family's idea of a perfect weekend involves a dark theater or an open waterfront, this weekend has something for you. It's the final weekend to catch Beauty and the Beast, plus there's a chance to see Harry Potter on stage. And out on the water, local youth are sailing boats they built themselves. Outside Lands may be getting all the attention, but live music, dancing, and performances for families are popping up across the city all weekend, no wristband required (and if you’re lucky enough to be enjoying Outside Lands this weekend, enjoy every minute and drop us a note telling us all about it!).

All summer, keep an eye out for 🪣, it means that pick counts toward our Ultimate SF Summer Bucket List. How many can you check off?

Let’s get into the weekend!

As always, if we missed your favorite happening around the city, reply here or find us at [email protected]. We’ll see you again in your inbox on Tuesday.

P.S. Forward this to a parent who is still trying to figure out what to do during their kiddo’s wake window.

P.P.S. Want to partner with us? Have an event we should highlight? We work with brands that parents actually want in their lives (you know, the ones that don't make us choose between "kid-friendly" and "still cool"). Email us at [email protected] if that sounds like you.

Click the option that fits, and feel free to tell us why. We read every response because we're nosy like that.
