🎇Fourth of July Festivities

All Weekend

Experience SF’s largest free jazz fest for a weekend of culture, creativity and connection. Expect live music, captivating art, and amazing food and beverages.

Worth Knowing:

Saturday Highlight

Connect with nature and agriculture at SFPL’s social at the New Farm. This event will be buzzing with live music, art and crafts, book giveaways, and of course, goats and chickens. Plus, the Bookmobile will be there!

  • The New Farm/Bay Natives Nursery, 10 Cargo Way

  • Free admission

  • If you are looking for a way to move your body before the event you can take a group ride from the Ferry building to the New Farm with San Francisco Bicycle Coalition at 10:30am

  • Arts and Crafts with Cristina Edwards from 11:00am-2:00pm

  • Live Music featuring Bay Beats Artists from 12:00pm-2:00pm

  • Self guided walking tour on the stroller-friendly trail at Heron’s Head Park

Sunday Highlight

Explore 6,000 years of Asian art and culture with free admission to world-class collections, plus special family programming, cultural performances, and hands-on activities that bring diverse Asian cultures to life.

Worth knowing:

  • 10:00am-4:00pm

  • Asian Art Museum, 200 Larkin Street

  • Free admission

  • Your kiddos can express their inner artist at the drop in art activities from 10:00am-4:00pm and the Zine lesson at 1:30pm

  • Belt out Disney tunes at the Mulan screening and singalong at 11:30am

  • Family story time (ages 3-6) at 11:00am and again (for all ages) at 1:00pm

  • Tour the museum collection at 2:00pm

  • Hear from the curator at 11:30am and 12:30pm
