📆Issue No. 40 - October 31-November 2, 2025

Happy Friday, friends! After what feels like a month-long Halloween celebration (because it basically was!), we're closing out spooky season with one final hurrah before diving into the holiday season ahead. From final Halloween festivities with carnival games and costume contests to puppetry workshops and the last of the Diwali celebrations, this weekend wraps up October's magic before we settle into the cozy rhythm of November. As they do every week, the San Francisco Public Library has amazing programming for families including many storytimes throughout the city. Whether your crew is squeezing in one more Halloween adventure or ready to celebrate new traditions with light and joy, you'll find the perfect way to transition seasons in this issue.

If you have a kiddo 0-5 years old, then this is for you. Did you know that your kiddo could receive a free book every month because of a partnership between Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, SF Department of Early Childhood and SF Public Library? Visit this link to register your child for this incredible literacy program.
