Happy Friday, friends! Valentine’s Day and a three-day weekend means you get extra time with your little loves. This issue has everything you need to keep you busy all weekend long.

Valentine’s Day Programming includes Music of the Heart at San Francisco Symphony, Love Bug Crown Craft at Tantrum, Lovers Lane 2026 in the Mission, Penguin Valentines at Cal Academy, and Love on the Line, an opportunity to take pictures on the Valentine’s Day themed cable car in Fisherman’s Wharf.

Black History Month Programming is happening across the city all month long. This weekend’s activities include THRIVE @ MoAD, West African Music at the library, a Black History Month Parade & Block Party! in Bayview, a Community Day and Celebration of Community and Love, and a conversation with Disney Legend, Martha Blanding at the Walt Disney Family Museum.

Lunar New Year Programming continues. This weekend’s activities include a Lunar New Year Celebration at the Outer Sunset Farmer’s Market, a Vietnamese Tet Celebration with Dragon Dancing at the Asian Art Museum, Lunar New Year Storytime and A Lion Dance Program at Cal Academy, the Flower Market Fair in Chinatown and Paper Dragons and The Flying Angels Chinese Dance Company at the library.

Last Chance. You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown ends on February 15.

Saturday Highlights

Spend the day exploring art and culture at the MoAD’s free community day. The programming for the day includes a family art activity and a family-friendly tour of the current exhibitions.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day enjoying live classical music with your family at Music of the Heart, part of San Francisco’s Symphony Music for Families series. Your kiddo will have an opportunity create a coloring souvenir and explore instruments at the Instrument Petting Zoo ahead of the show. These concerts are designed to be engaging, accessible and enjoyable for both adults and kiddos.
